Are you making the most of your workday? There are so many things to get done each day that it can feel impossible to get it all done and leave on time.
In this episode of Real Teacher Talk, we are discussing how to maximize your time so that you are more efficient and effective.
There are five things that I used to do every day inside my classroom that helped me make the most of my day. These tips are things that I teach inside of my program Easy Organization Tools so teachers can prioritize what’s really important, not do everything themselves. This helps them to get the important things done and not stay past contract time.
You don’t have a lot of time during the day to get things done, but that doesn’t mean that you have to sacrifice your free time to do it all after your students go home for the day.
In Today’s Episode We Discuss:
- How to get prepared ahead of time
- Why you should get your students to help around the classroom
- Tips for having students help with grading
- How to be intentional with your time
- Why you need to schedule time for fun
- How to plan time for administrative tasks
- How to reflect and improve your time management
I hope that these tips are useful for you! Pick and choose what’s going to work for you or what you want to try out so that you can really maximize your day because you don’t have a lot of time. There’s a lot you need to get through and you deserve to get it out of the way early so that you can get home and enjoy your life.
