If you are still in a coma from the school year and wondering how you can make the most of this summer, you’re in the right place!
In this episode of Real Teacher Talk, I’ve got three simple tips to help you breathe, relax, and celebrate the fact that you made it. So many teachers have told me that the last school year was the hardest in their careers, but the tips in this episode will help you get recharged and refreshed.
I know life is busy. You have so many things pulling you in a million different directions, especially in the summer because many of us try to cram in all of the activities that we couldn’t do during the school year. But you deserve the time to relax and focus on yourself, too. Put it in your schedule and make it a non-negotiable!
As teachers, and for many of us women, we put ourselves last. We are always thinking of our students, our kids, our family, or our spouses, and we end up at the bottom of your priority list. In order to get the rest and refresh that you need, you have to change that.
In Today’s Episode We Discuss:
- The importance of finding time to relax
- How to remove yourself from work completely for the summer
- Relaxing activities that can take your mind off of work
- Why you need to get clear on your core values
- How to set intentional “me” time
