A Christmas Linky

I'm linking up with my teacher friend from Alaska.  She posts the most adorable photos of her students and all the wintery snow photos that we don't get here in Southern California.  Plus, she makes the most adorable clip art!

The beginning of my break started off with a flight to Arizona to be with my grandma when she passed away.  As a result, it was a bit of a somber Christmas.
Luckily, I have the most amazing man in my life who was determined to  make it a special Christmas, despite the fact that my family wasn't together this year.

Snapfish made a mistake, we're not the Johnsons

My name is Kristen and I’ve enjoyed teaching kindergarten, first grade, a 1/2 combo, and second grade.  I’ve taught at both a low and high-performing Title I schools as well as a few fancy schools in California and O’ahu, Hawaii. I’ve earned my Master’s Degree in Education with an emphasis in reading in addition to my Reading Specialist Certificate.  When I am not teaching my scholars or other educators at Professional Development classes, I  enjoy creating materials to share with my colleagues, organizing family literacy events, and giving workshops on ways to make Literacy Workshop effective and engaging.

  1. I'm sorry for your loss! Rough year 🙁 But 2014 is just around the corner 🙂

That's hilarious about "The Johnsons"! Did you send them out or get new ones??

Be careful with that laminator–it's a deadly addiction to add to your already TpT addicted self 😉

  2. Of course I sent them out "as-is" and gave my grandma scare. She thought I got married and didn't invite her to the wedding. Oops! Have a great holiday ladies!
