Bulletin Board Ideas for Spring That You Will Love

Spring is here and I must admit I absolutely love springtime! The weather is warming up which means more time outdoors. It also means new beginnings. What better way to celebrate growth and new beginnings than with a new bulletin board! There are so many fun ways to bring the season of Spring into your bulletin board. Today I want to share with you four of my favorite!

1. Class Instagram Bulletin Board

The Class Instagram Bulletin Board was very popular in my classroom when I was teaching. Not only does this display look great but it also displays meaningful learning. You can use this resource in several ways. Students can illustrate a photo of their favorite learning on the Instagram page and add a caption. Another option is you can take a photo that students can glue onto the Instagram page and add a caption. This resource includes:

  • Blog posts and links to the bullentin board in action
  • 1 Instagram banner in 3 different colors
  • 1 Instagram page (choose from full page or half page to save on paper)

This resource can also be used for Back to School, Open House, a formative assessment, or even a project for summer school. The options are endless!

2. Disguise a Easter Bunny

My students and families absolutely loved family art projects. The Disguise an Easter Bunny project is a great way to give families time to work together and create something. The completed project can be used to line your classroom or hallway with bunnies to create the perfect bulletin board! Also, if you have families that don't celebrate Easter there are several different writing options to meet the needs of your class. This resource includes:

  • Family letter/instructions (4 letters per page to save paper)
  • Bunny Templates
  • 4 different writing prompts

My students always came up with such creative disguises. They also loved sharing their finished product with their classmates. When our bulletin board was complete we always received so many compliments!

3. Earth Day Art Bulletin Board

This resource is simple yet such a cute project for a bulletin board. You can use tear art, watercolors, oil pastels, or even crayons for this easy project! There are two different templates to choose from and you can even challenge your students by having them write about Earth Day or ways to protect the Earth!

The April Memory Book resource includes art, writing, and a craftivity. This resource is perfect for a bulletin board display. The activities can be used for small group, whole group, or independent time. Also, if you want to know more about this resource check out my past blog post that dives into more detail.

Another great option is the End of Year Memory Book. This resource includes awards, photo prop signs, editable memory book pamphlet, and summer count down!
